I seem to need one of these, so here we go.

What kind of commissions do you do?
It's rare for me to open slots for anything other than novelty commissions like pottery shards and cats.

When do you open commissions?
Whenever the mood strikes me.

Are you open for ___?
Bigger commissions like sketches, study sheets, ref sheets, paintings, etc, are very rare from me and its even rarer that they are planned. It's really a matter of being lucky enough to catch my journals when they go up.

Do you have a waiting list?
I do not, and probably won't start another.

Do you have a progress list?
No. Most of my commissions are small and are started and finished in the same day.

Why 60 days?
I try to get my work done within 60 days from the day I received payment. It seems long. Sometimes I am slow. I like for buyers to have a number to count back so they don't feel like they're floating in oblivion.

Do you still do pixel/patch art?
Unfortunately no. I'm pretty burnt out on pixel/patch art.

Do you do explicit art?
Not really. No. I might be willing to draw blood or gore but I'm not interested in drawing sex, sorry.

Do you post the art in your gallery?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I add a small do not use disclaimer to one of the corners of the image. You can request that I not post your commission if you prefer.

Are your commissions for commercial use?
No, unless otherwise arranged, you may not sell or otherwise profit from the art that I make for you. My commissions are not priced for commercial use.

Can I note you with a commission request/inquiry?
You can try! I'm really bad about answering notes (I do all of my commission interaction over email, but that's only for the buyers and active commissions. I'd rather my box was not flooded with general questions).

Why do you ask for my name, city and state? Even though you're not mailing me anything?
Because I have a sales tax permit. I pay a sales tax when I sell something to another person in my state, and keep record of what state the others are from so that I have that record if I am ever audited. I don't like to advertise the fact because most artists don't seem to know what a sales tax permit is, and it's kind of a bummer to explain it to them. If you really want to know, google it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do this for fun, not necessity, which means whether or not I open is entirely dependent on my mood and if there's a demand.

Out of curiosity, how WOULD someone contact you about a commission proposition?

I have something I wanted to run by you and see what you thought (and doesn't quite fit in the parameters set in the FAQ)...
