Everyone on DA seems to have a dragon character but me, XD granted I have openly admitted I'm not that big of a fan of dragons.

Some dragons.

I like the classical fire-breathing behemoths and want one of my own, but it seems to me that every time I sit down to draw one it turns int something else.

I actually started this earlier tonight anticipating that it would be an alternate form of another character that is still in the throws of development. Ultimately, I changed my mind. Some characters I'd just like to keep human. So this design is kind of up in the air, I'm not sure what I'll do with it if anything. Time will tell!

It is probably a cave dragon. Nocturnal. Roots, insects, vegetation and the occasional cave lizard diet. Intelligent. Male. Not really bad, not really good. Kind of a neutral party I think.

- Also, it doesn't breath fire. I'd like to think it secretes spider web like material from it's mouth.

I'm with you on this. I like real dragons that look like dragons. Not those fru-fru feathers and horse hair types with glowing orbs and fliers.
